Feeder Schools

We work closely with colleagues in all our First Schools, and where appropriate other schools, to ensure your child’s move to Brewood is a smooth, happy and enjoyable process.

Pupils are given several opportunities to visit Brewood in the months prior to being admitted. In this way, they feel part of the school community, forging relationships with other pupils and staff. There are Open Days, New Parents’ evenings and Induction Days at various points during the year.

Staff from Wolgarston High School visit Year 8 students prior to the Induction Day in July to meet students who are transferring in the new academic year.

The majority of pupils join Brewood CE Middle Academy in Year 5 from one of our 4 feeder schools:

St Marys CE First Academy, Wheaton Aston

St John’s (VC) First School, Bishops Wood

St Paul’s CE (VC) First School, Coven

St Mary & St Chad CE (VC) First School, Brewood

However, we have spaces in every year group and welcome new pupils throughout the year in every year group.
