Transport

If you are entitled to free school transport a letter providing details of pick up / drop off points and times will be sent to you during the summer term along with the relevant Bus Pass. If you are unsure as to whether you are entitled please visit www.staffordshire.gov.uk for further information.

You can also visit www.staffordshire.gov.uk/temporaryvacantseatscheme to find out further information if you don’t qualify and may be interested in purchasing an available seat – please be aware that this would only apply if you took your child to the nearest available bus stop – there isn’t a facility for home pick-up.

Special Educational Needs Travel

Pupils who are eligible for school transport must sign the Bus Safety Pledge in their pupil organiser.  They must :

• Wait for the bus to stop before I approach it.
• Get on and off the bus sensibly and in an orderly manner.
• Wear my seatbelt correctly until I get to my destination.
• Stay seated throughout the whole of the journey.
• Not distract the bus driver or any other road users.
• Not leave or throw litter on the bus.
• Behave sensibly at all times – if not I will be removed from the bus.
• Respect other people and their property.
• Look after my property.

Currently we have a number of different routes bringing our pupils to and from school with different pick up points along each route.
