Teaching and Learning at BMA
Based on the best available research evidence, we have formed Brewood CE Middle Academy’s ‘Teaching and Learning Principles’.
These principles “are things teachers do, know and believe have the biggest impact on student learning” (Evidence Based Education – Great Teaching Toolkit: Evidence Review).
Our teaching and learning principles are not a checklist of what every lesson should include, and they might look different within key stages and subjects. However, they are the building blocks of great teaching.
Pupils are happy at Brewood Middle CofE Academy and many describe it as being like a ‘family’
